Getting Online Help

• IOS has a built-in help facility;

  • use “?” to get a list of possible configuration statements

• “?” after the prompt lists all possible commands:

  • router#?

• “<partial command> ?” lists all possible subcommands, e.g.:

  • router#show ?
  • router#show ip ?
